Princeton Gymnastics and Dance Academy brings back medals from Orlando |

ORLANDO, Fl. — Three students from Princeton Gymnastics and Dance Academy competed and won medals at the Orlando Cup Invitational held earlier this month. The event was organized by Sonya Flex Academy and co-sponsored by Pastorelli and West Coast Rhythmics.

Thirty different teams from Xcel to Elite levels, comprising five hundred gymnasts aged 6 to 20, from around the country, including Massachusetts Boston, New York, California, Los Angeles, Seattle, New Jersey, Columbus Ohio and West Virginia participated at the three-day event.

For the Princeton Gymnastics and Dance Academy, 14-year-old Alexis Whitt received gold medals for her ribbon and club routines and a silver medal in the hoop. She is the daughter of Angela Whitt and Tommy Whitt. Alexis attends Glenwood School as an 8th grader. Alexis Whitt has been a student at Princeton Gymnastics and Dance Academy for 9½ years.

Eshaal Khan, 11, received a gold medal for his floor routine and a silver medal for his club and hoop routines. She is the daughter of Sajjad Khan and Sobia Fayyaz. She attends Bluefield Middle School and is in 5th grade. Eshaal Khan has been a student at Princeton Gymnastics and Dance Academy for 8 years.

Aria Buckland received a gold medal for her rope routine and a silver medal for her ball and floor routines. She is the daughter of Ronnie and Jennifer Buckland. She attends Hinton area elementary school and is in grade 3. Aria Buckland has been part of the Princeton Gymnastics and Dance Academy for 8 months.
