Students from the local dance academy showcase their talents

Competitive opportunities and dance lessons available for Central Wisconsin residents of all ages

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Looking for dance lessons in central Wisconsin? The Universal Dance Academy is perhaps one of central Wisconsin’s best kept secrets. Although the company has been located in Marshfield Mall for twelve years (and will remain there), many people are still surprised to learn of the opportunities offered by UDA.

“The studio has always allowed anyone 3 years and older to compete at any skill level,” said Deana Becker and Laurie Hederer, owners. “We are a small studio with a family atmosphere.”

Offering small class sizes, private lessons for personal growth, solos for all ages, duos, trios and groups – all are welcome to join and experience the benefits of dance.

“Dancing builds confidence, boosts self-esteem, is good for physical health, helps you make new friends, and encourages creativity,” Becker said. “We go the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome.”

UDA offers all dance styles including acrobatics, ballet, contemporary movement, creative movement, jazz, hip hop, pointe, tap and musical theatre. They also offer a variety of competitive classes with a choreography-based class structure.
