It’s almost like the Mickey Mouse Club again at Walt Disney World. The Dallas Mavericks are one of 22 NBA teams to join the station for the resumption of the 2019-20 season on July 30.

Despite being pretty much quarantined in Orlando, the Mavericks find a way to have fun. Discover the dance party in which several members of the team took part from the balconies of their hotel rooms. This is another thing.

This would actually act as a really good social distancing PSA. As Maxi Kleber notes, 48 hours of self-isolation brought the Mavericks to the tipping point. That’s great.

The Mavericks also announced that every member of the team will have the word “equality” on the back of their jersey upon restart in support of Black Lives Matter.

For now, it could be fun and games. Hold on. Serious business awaits these teams in three weeks.
