Vehicle smashes front window at Nanaimo dance studio
An incident occurred at Nored Plaza on Tuesday, January 18
A driver rammed a vehicle through the front window of a Nanaimo dance studio this afternoon.
First responders were called after a luxury crossover vehicle drove through the window of the Sara Raymond Dance Academy in Nored Plaza at 2pm on Tuesday January 18. The vehicle ended up inside the studio.
Business owner Sara Raymond said the academy was closed at the time of the incident so no one was inside, and on-site crews said the driver had not been injured in the incident. The vehicle was towed.
Raymond anticipates that repairs will be done quickly and that the studio will reopen in a few days.
